Our Mission

We strive to provide Jewish Fuqua students with a platform for social, cultural, academic, and community activities.

 
About Us

The JBA has seventy members in the Fuqua community from a variety of backgrounds and countries. Our members come from North America, Latin America, Europe, and Israel, and represent all major career interests at Fuqua: Finance, Marketing, Health Care, General Management, Social Entrepreneurship, and Consulting. We welcome students' partners to join us for activities as well.


Activities

There are plenty of opportunities to celebrate Jewish holidays while at Fuqua! At the beginning of the school year, we coordinate activities for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. We will also host an on-campus Passover seder for JBA members and their families.

The JBA also coordinates frequent social and cultural activities within Fuqua, including a Welcome Back FY-SY Mixer,activities with other graduate student groups at Duke and UNC, and events with young professionals and Jewish singles groups around the Triangle area.
